Taxpayer Facts

Wouldn't it be great if every piece of significant legislation came with a chart of "taxpayer facts," similar to the "nutrition facts" that you find on food in the supermarket?

It would be a basic chart that would break down the legislation cost per taxpayer for each "ingredient" of the bill.

This would give excellent transparency to legislation costs ... but that might be the precise reason why it's not a palatable idea to elected officials.
