My Take on the Obama-mercial

I'll reserve judgment on Obama's infomercial until after it airs, but just the very concept of it makes me think that if Obama can't make his case to be president in less than a minute, an additional 29 minutes isn't going to help.

It also leaves the impression that Obama's trying to "spend" his way to the presidency through an unprecedented TV ad buy. There could be a backlash when undecided voters realize that Obama would rather talk to you through an informercial rather than engage in a fourth debate with McCain.
